Nakita is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and obtained her bachelor and master's degrees in Social Work from Salisbury University. She is an EMDR trained therapist and has experience working with children and adolescents in various therapeutic settings with a specialty in school-based therapy.

 

She provides individual and group therapy services while utilizing a wide range of therapeutic techniques such as expressive art, music, writing, play, drama, nature-based healing, yoga, and mindfulness. Nakita enjoys utilizing a person-centered approach paired with a humanistic approach to allow her to meet each child and family where they are and look at the family and child as a whole. Nakita is Certified in Radiant Child Yoga.
