The Shibashi are a group of 18 individual Qigong exercises that are designed to balance the Qi. Discover the way of energy to cultivate “internal
strength” through mind/body movements, breathing, and postures. Energy focused exercises have been practiced in China for hundreds of years.

In this workshop, participants will learn:

  • Forms (postures) and body alignment
  • Mindful awareness and natural breathing
  • Basic Qi-Gong terms and lingo

Dr. Bob McBrien has more than 20 years of training in Korean and Japanese martial arts and Tai Chi
Chuan. He is student and teacher Tai Chi for Health and Way of Energy (Qigong) programs.
A licensed Professional Counselor in Maryland, Dr. McBrien, a Professor Emeritus, has retired from
Salisbury U. He teaches classes in Tai Chi for Health, Way of Energy (Qigong) workshops and other
wellness workshops on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and in Southern Delaware. A Master Trainer for the
