The Personal Wellness Center is looking for an administrative assistant with some bookkeeping experience. The ideal candidate is/has:

Essential Functions
- Answer telephone
- Take messages and handle all clients’ inquiries
- Set up appointments for clients for desired services
- Sets clients up in the different services the center provides
- Performs a variety of bookkeeping tasks such us, bank reconciliation, credit card reconciliation, bank deposit, receives and enters insurance payments
- Mental health billing (no previous experience needed)
- Checks insurance payment status as well as member’s benefits and eligibility with insurance company
- Runs weekly, bi-weekly and monthly reports, such as aging report, sales report, and payroll.
- Order office supplies as needed.
- Use Social Media for marketing and connecting with clients
- Create marketing flyers and e-newsletter
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm and Fridays from 8 am to 5 pm.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma
- One year of administrative experience
