Lotus Yoga Studio Class Descriptions

Every class will begin and end in stillness. This allows the body and mind to become calm and absorb the many benefits of practice.

Classes hours:

Restorative Yoga: Thursdays – 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm with Clare Spillane

Radiant Health – 6-week weight loss program: Mondays 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm with Clare Spillane and Elizabeth Dawson

Restorative Yoga

Gentle movement and restorative postures are used to release tension on a physical, mental, and emotional level while establishing a mindfulness awareness and inviting a sense of relaxation and ease.

Beginners Yoga

You will be guided through an easy to follow flow, paying special attention to postures and alignment while getting a great exercise and deepening your awareness within the body.

All Levels Yoga

Using dynamic movement, creative flow, and empowering static postures, these classes will vary in intensity. You will always be encouraged to take resting poses throughout the class, and alternative postures will be offered in some circumstances.

Yin Yoga

Enjoy deep relaxation through a slow-paced meditative sequence of postures designed to eliminate tension and enhance flexibility. You will hold postures for 1 to 5 minutes while easing into a deeper state of inner-awareness.

Yoga Nidra

A meditative, conscious relaxation practice designed to promote deep relaxation on a physical, mental, and emotional level.

Clare Spillane, LCSW-C, Yoga Instructor

Clare is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker- Certified (LCSW-C) with over 30 years of experience in facilitating personal growth through a variety of counseling modalities. She specializes in self-empowerment, self-actualization, and in identifying and achieving your life’s purpose.   She has a passion for helping individuals achieve optimum emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being.  Her style embodies holistic healing with the goal of helping individuals find true happiness, peace and joy.  She is a cancer survivor of 22 years and an active practitioner of yoga.  She is a registered yoga teacher with over 500 hours of teacher training, (RYT-500).
